Certainly don't pay it.
I've heard COUNTLESS stories of 1&1's debt collection methods.
This method is their standard practice. Their debt collection people
are totally clueless and know nothing about the debt.
1&1 hand over accounts to agencies without providing any evidence of
proof of the debt to the agency, who then harrass the victim with red
letters.
Ask the agency to prove the debt, and you'll soon find you're handled
by 1&1 again.
Several of my friends have been stung by these cuntpieces.
Simply write to the home addresses of one of the Directors of 1&1,
(check with Companies House for the addresses) and you'll soon find it
resolved. If you need the addresses, drop me a line on this email
address, and I'll see if I still have them to one side - it'll save you
paying a fiver to CH !
