Our Client, a Fortune 500 Company, is looking for the right candidate,
who will help ensure that their infrastructure is designed and
implemented to the highest standards and become a member of a diverse
team of information technologists engineering various components of
their systems architecture. You will continually evaluate
infrastructure effectiveness, develop technical direction and execute
large implementation and upgrade initiatives.
You will:
• Work as part of a project team to design, develop and build new
system solutions.
• Implement proof-of-concepts for new system designs and participate
in and document system design reviews.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to understand requirements and
ensure the solutions developed meet these requirements.
• Contribute to the design, development and execution of system
changes through the end-to-end testing lifecycle.
• Provide 7x24x365 support for the company.
• Troubleshoot and research root cause of problems.
They are looking for the following skills:
• Advanced technical knowledge of VMWare ESX and related
technologies.
• Advanced technical knowledge of Citrix, Active Directory, DHCP, WINS
and the TCP/IP protocol.
• Technical knowledge in application virtualization using Citrix
Streaming, Softricity, Appstream, and/or other application
virtualization technologies.
• Technical knowledge of the Windows desktop and server operating
systems; Windows 2000 Professional and Server, Windows XP, and Windows
Server 2003.
• Knowledge of SMS, IIS, Windows scripting, and database technologies
is a plus.
• Knowledge with Citrix Presentation 4.0 and higher and Microsoft
Terminal Services a plus.
• Ability to understand and relate product technology, strategy and
direction with business needs.
• Works well in a team environment, providing leadership in areas of
expertise.
• Can manage multiple systems environments (development, testing,
production).
• 5+ years experience in information technology and a four year
bachelor of science degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent technical documentation skills.
Late nights and weekend work will be required, the successful
candidate should be willing to:
• Work overtime as required.
• Provide 7x24 support when required.
• Provide off-hour problem and change implementation support.
