Applications Engineer – Machine Vision

Cognex, the worlds largest supplier of machine vision technology are
looking to recruit an applications engineer based at their Milton
Keynes UK headquarters. The ideal candidate should be from an
automation background and be educated to degree level (or equivalent).
Duties include: Customer support, appraisal and demonstration of
customer solutions using Cognex products and carrying out training
courses on our machine vision products.

Knowledge of PC programming (VB6, VB.Net or C# etc) using microsoft
would be an advantage as would knowledge of lighting and optics. We
would be particularly keen to meet people with some experience of
vision technology.
