Ruby on Rails Agile role

Developer, London, £40 - £45k (not remote work)

Our Client is working with the cutting edge in web application
technologies. As the successful candidate will be joining a small and
exciting organisation they will need to demonstrate a proven track
record in delivering exciting software solutions and a keen desire to
learn emerging technologies. The system is built in Ruby on Rails and
Java and the company works in an agile environment.

Requirements

" A willingness to get involved in all stages of the software process
is a necessity, along with strong object-oriented skills. This position
reports directly to the CTO.
" Deliver high-quality, tested, fit-for-purpose code
" Contribute to all phases of software delivery from concept through to
release
" Work with business groups to define software needs and requirements
" Drive innovation at all levels of the product
" Learn from our customers, competitors and team-mates
" Report accurately on performance against planned objectives
" Skills required
" Mastery of object-oriented concepts
" Agile development mindset
" Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal
" Fast and effective OO coder
" Strong desire to work in a small company

Desirable skills:

" Qualifying candidates will typically have 4+ years of relevant
experience
" HTML, Javascript, CSS
" Unix server experience and knowledge
" Ruby and Ruby on Rails
" Dynamic languages
