x3 Technical Support Consultant's up to £30k Chertsey, Surrey
On behalf of our client who is the worldwide leader of employee
Internet management (EIM) solutions we are recruiting for 3 Technical
Support Consultant's to work in their Chertsey offices in Surrey. Their
software enables businesses to monitor report and manage how their
employees use the Internet. This supports an organization's efforts to
improve employee productivity, conserve network bandwidth and mitigate
legal liability. The company serves more than 17 million employees
worldwide and has over 20,000 customers, ranging in size from
100-person firms to global-sized corporations.
The successful candidate will be an IT graduate with at least 3 - 5
years IT experience with 2 years in
technical product support or information systems environment support.
This person will need to
have solid skills and experience with the following technologies: SQL,
LDAP Directory Servers
(iPlanet, Novell, Active Directory etc), TCP/IP. Unix (Linux or
Solaris) or Windows server
operating systems.
Experience with some of the following products and technologies are
beneficial: Cisco Routers, Proxy Servers (MSP, ISA Server, Squid
Proxy), Firewalls (Checkpoint FW-1, Cisco PIX, Netscreen), Microsoft
NT/2000. Experience of Citrix and Radius is preferred.
Excellent communication skills are needed along with a strong ability
to diagnose and troubleshoot
complex systems level technical configuration issues.
