CNG Global Services is currently recruiting for a Principal Planning
Engineer - for Packet & Circuit, Signalling, IP

· Engineering Bachelors Degree or equivalent

· Minimum 5 - 8 years experience Circuit/Packet Switching
/IP/Signalling/Interconnect (as appropriate) Environment.

· Excellent Modelling and Planning skills.

Experience in some or all of the following technologies, as appropriate

· GSM, GPRS, 3G Packet & Circuit Switching in Mobile
Environment

· Signalling

· Intelligent Networks

· IP Networks

Role Requirements

· Planning of the Circuit & Packet Core/Signalling/IP (as
appropriate) Network infrastructure, products and services.

· Capacity Modelling, Monitoring, Analysis and Forecasting of
the Core Network.

· Recommend Network Improvements, Optimisation activities and
Quality Initiatives.

· Planning, Engineering, Design, Performance Monitoring and
Implementation of Core Network elements.

· Evaluation, Design, Engineering, Implementation and Testing
of new Services, Features and Enhancements.

· Familiar with Vendor Roadmaps, Equipment Dimensioning and
Feature Dependencies.

· Lead System Engineering of Core network on major Projects.

· Impact studies for new products and service introduction.

· Dial Plan maintenance, implementation and resource
allocation.

· Project Management of technical projects in the Core Network
teams.

· Inventory Management for the Core Network.

· Liase closely with the Operations department for efficient
handover into operational service

· Engineering support to other Departments within the Customer
environment.
