Yesterday I received a letter from the CSA 'to tell me about the
amount of child maintenance they'll be collecting from me'. They've
increased the amount, but didn't feel it necessary to give me any
explanation of how the amount was arrived at, why it has increased, or
why the 'regular amount' goes up and down over the next year.

What other organisation could get away with demanding money with
menaces with no explanation of the amount or what it is for? Well,
maybe the Mafia.
