How the hell do you find a 'good' lawyer?
Jobbing hacks are useless (I used one...worse than useless). Family
Law/Resolution accreditation ought to a least mean that somebody knows the
'tricks of the trade' but clearly:

are only in it for their wallets. I've taken the liberty of of requesting
assistance from ALL of their various offices, whilst expressing some
reservations in view of the negative publicity here. I wonder if the
Manchester people know how crap the Preston lot are? Naturally, I would hope
that others would not follow my example....oh no..
The only way to find a competent lawyer (beyond blind good luck) is to ask
around...I wish I had...there are some real sharp specialists out there and
you want them on your side not the other.. (it can even help with the CSA,
whos presentations are often as watertight as a sieve.)
You haven't been treated properly at all...you could do with a decent legal
hitter...ask around...Anybody on here have experience of a good local
practitioner?

Have you asked the swine solicitors at why they have failed to represent
you? and why was this decision not given to you earlier, is it because
