If you have another child living with you then the 50% restriction on
housing costs is lifted (or it was when I was on CS1 6 years ago)

CSA1 allows maximum of 50% net income to pay mortgage.
So, if you take home £10k per month CSA1 only allows
£5k mortgage cover. And by my crude reckoning, they'll
look to shaft you for 30% of the remainder. £1500 per
month, or £18000 per annum.
