So under the guidelines I cannot have an agreement between her and me it has
to go through them ? (just to clarify)
James, just a word of caution as I'm not exactly sure if there is
another reason for your question.
Toffee said "No, only from the point that you as the father are first

This is the sensible answer but I'm not sure it happens in practice.
If you have been paying cash, and you have no proof that you have paid
this money (i.e. you are not getting a receipt) at some/any time in
the future the CSA/your ex could say you haven't paid anything. And
you will owe it all again.
This has happened to far too many people - beware.
