The NRP has a set wage and a company car on top of that. He has a different
tax code and pays an extra £150 tax per month because of the car. Therefore
will the £150 be classed as income or as tax or 50/50??

if the car allowance is paid as part of your income then all of it is
taken into account. you can appeal and ask that it is disregarded as
income if you can prove that the car is wholly and necessarily required
for the purpose of the job.
