Its cost. Pure and simple.
Over the past 15 years, the entire DWP has been shifting to lower charges
for money. Paying through a post office, the post office has to be paid.

I would take advice on this, maybe make a complaint to see what the
response is. If you are paying the correct amount on time, I really
can't see why you would be forced to change your method of payment. I'm
sure there are much more pressing issues than chasing someone who
is paying for a direct debit form...

letter send to me, the letter was also hand signed by Debt Management
