Last I looked Labour had both the largest number of seats and the

Plenty of people voted for other parties, but Labour won overall.

Yes with 22% of the electorate ... 78% couldn't even be bothered to
vote - says much of the electoreal system.

True, it does say a lot about the electoreal system.
Still, those who don't vote then can't influence which party gets into
power. Decisions are made by those that show up.

Luckily our system of government doesn't require a party to get more
votes

So were lucky to have a goverment backed by 22% of the population.

No, we are lucky that of those who did vote, one party had a majority
greater than all other parties in number of seats won.

We get exactly the government we want, we being the millions of
people who can vote if they so choose.

No... the fact is we get exactly the goverment 78% didn't choose

No, 78% chose not to vote. They didn't count themselves in deciding who
should have power.
We have a choice in this country. To vote or not to vote. And who to vote
for when we do vote.

If they had decided to vote, they could have changed everything.
But they chose not to vote, a choice that they have been granted and decide
to exercise.

So they have to accept the choices others made to vote. And we got exactly
the government we want. Including those who didn't vote.
They wanted to be out of the decision making process of who the government
should be.

As for sorting out the CSA not been popular.... I must have
been elsewhere for the last 5 years or have missed reading those
official reports about what a efficient governement department the
CSA is.

Never said they were efficient.

And complimenting the CSA isn't
exactly considered news.

A compliment for the CSA would be remarkeable news

Then you need to be in touch with their customer service departments. Not
everyone slags the CSA off. For those it does help, they do get letters of
thanks.

I've never seen an unhappy lottery
winner,

Can't say I've met many, but not sure happy is how I would describe
the ones
I've come across.

Lottery winners not happy????

They are rich.
Not the same as happy.

I'm both rich and happy, but my happiness isn't related to my finances.

Oh wow. They (benefits) make such a big difference to a working
parent too.
Try 50+ hours of childcare during holidays (never mind for younger
children
not at school during term). There is a limit to the state help.

Yes for NRP that amounts to about £0 per year in child benfit and £0
per year in Tax Credit (Child element) ... that makes at a life
changing £0 per year for NPRs

True.
However, look how much childcare they also need.

The problem of split benefits isn't a CSA problem, though its something that
is fraught with its own problems if its ever done.

The safety nets are a bit overrated. And nothing to do with the CSA.

True - they are to do with goverment, then arn't the CSA?

CSA is to do with the government, yes.

Me, I think if the legislation is sorted then half the problem is
solved.
Fail to change the legislation and changing the organisation isn't
worth
doing.

On that we both agree
