Are they sure about only 4000 cases being handled last year?
Is it perhaps as misleading as the claim that only £8 million was recovered,
at a cost of £12 million?When presumably thats the enforcement cost and
recovery, not CSA cost and recovery.
I would suspect, based on what I know from the first year of CS2, that the
4000 would be more like the monthly figure. Just seems very low even for
CSA.
Though the backlog being so high is itself a major cause for concern. Wonder
what tricks they'll try to get that down - possibly illegal or not quite
legal tricks.
