It still annoys me that TV's don't have enough connnections. I paid a
small fortune for my current CRT about 8 years ago (it was bleeding edge
at the time) and only one SCART out of the 3 was RGB enabled, so forever
and a day I've been degrading my Sky and console signals through an Argos
RGB switcher.
Things are impoving I suppose in that many HDTVs have a couple or 3
HDMIs, but as everything I have is componet or RGB SCART (I can't justify
the cost of witching to $kyHD) it's still switchblock city for me

Just get a VGA or HDMi cable for your Xbox or Wii :)

VGA from the Xbox is a definite option (forgot that was possible)

HDMI though, my 360 doesn't have a HDMI port and I didn't think the Wii can
do HDMI; can it??

nope, composite, component and rgb scart only for the Wii.
