I think (and it's been a while) that you go to the relevant dashboard tab on
the 360, select the computer and choose the delete option. There is the
same sort of thing on the PC control panel for the PC side.


Yes that's it. I had to delete it from the Xbox after imaging my machine.

hm, had a look on my own machine and can;t work out what it is we
would have to delete. any pointers folks?

on the 360, go to the system blade (the very far right one) then the
computers sub-page, and delete any connections on there.

on the pc, open WMP11 then to the tools menu -> options, then select
the library tab.

click on the configure sharing button, then delete any existing
connections.

that should (and thats a big should, i had problems with this myself
and ended up sacking it off and using tversity) delete the existing
connections between xbox and pc, and let you set up a new one.
