not all have the 175w psu
i have 2 machines that are the new ones but are 203w psu's

they had a supply of the 203w ones that overlapped a few weeks


easiest way to test is get a watt meter at maplin

old one uses 140 watts in the dashboard

new one 93



it doesnt realy matter anyway as thats the cpu useing less power

not the gpu (thats the bit that desolders)

aslong as you have the upgraded heatsink on the gpu it should be fine


check your build date and post here

*******73405 last 5 digits of serial number on the back

7 = 2007
34 = week 34
05 = no idea



most week 35 + are the new ones on a premium
i think on a elite it starts at like 40 or something but not totally sure
