Anyone encountered the freezing problem on The Darkness?
If so, was there a way around it?

I've just finished the second visit to hell, and in continuing the
story I have to visit my Aunt and 'Butcher', and when I go to leave
the subway station to Lower East Side the game freezes in the
animation of the loading screen, and it is always at the same point
in the animation. I have tried going to other areas and they are
fine, I can leave at Canal St. etc., but cannot progress the story
any further. Not happy :(

I had no problems with it.
