was there some sort of scam on ebay regarding crackdown then?
I paid for it about 4 weeks ago by cheque hoping to get it for the beta
after hearing people in here say how good the game itself was. All of a
sudden the onlt feedback for the seller is negative from people saying
that he's ripped them off too. And there was me thinking he must feel
ripped off because I got it for a really good price. That'll teach me.

has he actually cashed the cheque? just if he has, i mean, you'll have
his address, no? not feel like "paying him a visit"?

Just Cancel the cheque. Even if it's been cashed, you can get your
money back unless you posted your cheque guarentee card to him as
well!!!
