Its a good release. Much faster than beta 2. Got a couple of driver issues at the moment but on the whole its the best beta so far.

Can you dual boot with it? Or does it need to go over xp?

Yes you can. What I did was to create a new NTFS partition (D drive) and formatted it within XP. Put in the vista dvd, ran the setup then you choose custom install. Custom install allows you to install to a seperate drive. I installed to D drive and it sorted the dual boot out for me. Now have XP and vista.
