Xbox 360 Wireless Interference....

Anyone know if there is a way of switching off the wireless controller
support for the 360?

Its just that I have a Digital TV Sender for transmitting sky upstairs,
however when the xbox is turned off (still switched at the mains) it gives a
lot of interference on the transmitted picture... but flicked off at the
plug its fine..

Now for me its not a problem to switch off the 360 when watching anything
upstairs, but as you can guess when im on the xbox downstairs the girlfriend
isn't too happy to have a crap signal on the tv...

My argument of "well lets get HD and the old box can go upstairs on a
multiroom", didn't really get too much support, and not happy with just
freeview channels...

Mostly I use my wired controller (always forget where put down the wireless
one), so being able to disable wireless wouldnt be an issue for me!!

Any ideas??
