Don't rely on peoples opinions who own a certain TV. They will be biased
towards what they own.

Agreed. It's a great set.

Go and see demos in various shops. If need be take something you want see
on the tv (laptop with HD material etc)


Important Point!

The one downfall of the Sony is that the PC input is 640x480 IIRC, so don't
try the HD that way on it.
