Got a XBox the other day that had a faulty Thompson drive in it so I
swapped it for a spare Samsung I had.

The box started fine, although I do not know the history of it and if
there was any other problems.

Today though it seems to be a pig

I press the start button and nothing I press the open dvd draw button
and it starts then turns straight off again.

No fragging or anything else


Is this a 'known' fault or is there something I should look at to see
whats coursing this or is a sign of a borked box ?
