Only bought my laptop 2 weeks ago costing me £950

Last night I was in my bed watching a movie and I guess I just
dozed off... woke up this morning to find my laptop screen was
smashed in, which probably means I kicked it in my sleep.

So I call Fugitsu and they quoted me £400 to repair it!

Feel gutted

Anyone know any better ways to get a new screen for it without
paying half the price I paid for the laptop? Or am I stuffed?

stop wanking in bed.

lol. :D

That's not what I was doing, already did that earlier on in the day
- but why on earth would you suggest to stop??

Anyways cheers for the suggestion skijumptoes

Bobby I don't have any cover I'm a poor college student

Poor, with a £950 laptop, are you having a giraffe???

I did my degree with an 12Mhz 286 with no case, an MFM hard drive
(pre-IDE) and a green screen Hercules monitor as that's all I could
afford, cost about £30.

hehe, I did mine with a 386 25 SX, again a MFM HDD about 20mb I think,
and a green mono monitor. I was compiling C++ on it, it would take
about 10 mins to compile and at the end exit with a missing ; or
something.

I had to correct and wait another 10 mins... It was an old IBM with a
hindged lid. Fantastic.

lol what fuking year did you two go to uni in then! 1980?

Sounds like I lived in luxury. 75 mhz amd proc with 16mb ram and an 800mb
hdd :-)

I started my College years on BBC Micro model B. We eventually moved to twin floppy Sanyo MBC 550's and then to Amstrad 1640's with harddrives and Cobol and the option of using Windows 2.0

You lot had it so lucky.
