Hey :-)
been enjoying my xbox 360 along with ridge racer 6 doa 4. I was
wondering what this xbox live stuff was about.
I've been one of those slow snails who stuck on dialup till a few
weeks ago and am now jaw dropping looking at broadband. I no longer
have to go and make a drink while waiting for a page to load.
So being a lazy tart is live a free service or is it another monthly
bill.
do you get free demos from something called the market place ? or is
this free once you pay a subsciption.
Very interested in it as it would be nice to show off my didgy skills
against other gamers. As I normally play on it alone.
Liking it very much, become my best mate since sky plus lol
:-)
Two types of accounts.
Silver - has all the features of marketplace, text, chat but no online
gaming
Gold - has everything including online gaming.
Silver is free, you get one month of free gold with a 360 when you set up
online account.
Gold is £5 per month or the cheaper router would be to buy an annual card
from a shop. I think the current price is £39.99 for one year.
Demos are all free on marketplace, you can also buy arcade games either buy
buying points cards from retail outlets or by buying directly on the
dashboard with a credit card.
