Picked up my xbox 360 this morning. No connected it up yet, will do this
evenin :-) (feel like a kid at xmas) lol
I bought project gotham racing 3 looked good form what I could see and have
heard good things about it.
Just thought I'd said thanks for the info and help last night.
Got a few other games in mind I'll list them an would appreciate andfeedback
on if there to be avoided like the plague.
Gun ? (always fancied being a front room clint eastwood) god knows what the
games like, but I aint chewing no tobacco *I just flossed*

Not played it, reviews have been a little above average, but don't expect anything amazing, graphics, gameplay and content have all been lifted straight off the Xbox version.

I enjoyed it, it's not the longest game in the world, it's fun and something a bit different, see also King Kong.

Ridge racer 6 (look fantastic) I love racing games, not really into all
these car modding games just like good old fashion racing.

Utterly brilliant. The first couple of hours put a few people off as you start off in slow cars and fairly easy competition, but if you can persevere through these first couple of hours there's another 40 hours of pure racing bliss behind it. No buying, no upgrades, no modding, just very, very fast racing.

Had it for ages, great fun, only played the first few races, keep meaning to go back to it.

Fight night round 3 (love boxing games ... cant see much any other boxing
games ... so I guess its worth a jab ... auwful pun wasnt it sorry)

Connect your 360 to Live and download the demo. The best looking people ever, solid gameplay and a great atmosphere, but reports from the US release say the single-player game isn't brilliant, but if you're a boxing fan it's essential.

Looks incredible, really enjoyed the first two on the Xbox, eagerly awaiting my copy from Play. Don't know what they've done with single player this time, but the previous two consisted mainly on just working your way up through the rankings with your boxer, training and buying better entrances. FN3 at long last has multi-player though.

burnout revenge?

Reviews are saying it's the same as the Xbox version but gorgeous, therefore ace. I say it's the same as the Xbox version but gorgeous, therefore utter wank. If you've never played a Burnout game you'll probably love it. If you have, you'll probably hate how much they've broken it.

The elder scrolls

If you like RPGs I'm sure you'll fall in love. Morrowind bored me to tears so I'll be missing this one out.

Also pretty bored with Morrowind, but I do love a good RPG, so I'll probably get this too.

test drive unlimited

Looks very promising, but way off yet.

driver parallel ... I've been warned it could stink

It will. I also don't believe it's coming out on 360.

other than them I'm afer some good beat em' ups they are still called that
right ?

Yeah, they are, but apart from Fight Night your only choice is Dead Or Alive 4, which is pretty and great but highly flawed (online is broken, single player is stupidly difficult).

Didn't someone say there had been an update for DOA4? Didn't find the story mode in single player that difficult and this is really the first beat em up, I've ever played. Time attack on the other hand, I am having difficulty with, mainly because of that green bitch boss :-)

As a measure of my beat em up prowess, I lost my first 25 straight fights (got two achievements to prove it too ;-) no points, just two achievements) and won my 26th and haven't had a chance to go back online with it yet.

You might also consider Kameo, a stunningly beautiful but short action platformer. If you didn't know, Game offer a policy whereby you can return any game for a full refund within 10 days of purchase. You can easily finish Kameo within a week (12 hours of play roughly), so it comes strongly recommended. Also online co-op mode is coming soon.

Played it for an hour or so, never really gone back to it, I'm sure I will go back and finish it at some stage, although I'm in no desperate hurry to go back to it, does look gorgeous though.

If you like online FPS games you need Perfect Dark Zero, poor in single player but great on Live.

Crap single player, take it or leave it multi-player for me, probably because I'm *** for one thing and can't seem to connect to any friends games for another.

Call Of Duty 2 is a fantastic single-player experience, but is weak online (although apparently a patch will be out to fix that soon).

Agreed excellent, played most the way through on normal difficulty and I plan to have a go at veteran soon too.

If you connect it to the internet you MUST (read: MUST) buy Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved. £3.40 it'll set you back. Nothing but purest brilliance. There's a demo of it built into PGR3, walk around the garage, go to the two arcade cabinets and play the one called 'Geometry Wars 2'.

Hope this helps a bit :)

Condemned, maybe if your into creepy FPS type games. Most of the way through it, it's mostly great, again very short, with a few things that annoy me, mainly artificially trying to prolong a short game. For instance, why do you need a fire axe to break through a door? Why can't you use a sledgehammer? Why do you have to use a sledgehammer to beak a padlock? Why can't you shoot the lock or hit it with the axe or the shovel or anything else for that matter? Just to make you spend a bit more game time looking for the right thing. Very creepy and atmospheric though, especially if you play it on your own late at night in the dark :-)
