Ok here's the deal.
install Windows Media encoder 9 on your media centre pc...reboot
then use tmpenc express 3 or wme 9 to encode your divx movies to wmv, xpress
3 will do a nice job of this and make them high quality too. Windows media
encoder 9 is also quite impressive with the reults too.
I have done 70 or so div x and dvds now and they all play fine on the 360
via media centre and also using usb.
