I kind of went to town on mine. I got an athlon FX-57. 2 gig of memory. 2 x
300gb SATA hard drives running in raid 0. Coolermaster case. NVIDIA 7800gtx
graphics card......you get the picture. It runs Half Life 2 at 1600 x 1200
with FSAA and AA without the slightest judder. Certainly well above 30fps! I
haven't bothered to reinstall doom as I completed it on my last system.
The point I was trying to make is that even my system probably wont match
the 360 for power given that it has a next gen ATI chip inside it. And my
system cost a whole lot more than the 360 will.
