Re: AARGH! Far Cry Instincts !

Oh, great. This must be a bug. I've crumbled and went on the GameFaqs and got the 'unlock all levels' cheat code. Put it in, then start playing the next level 'RAIN FOREST'.

Once I got to the first 'saving checkpoint' bit I hit start, then selected the 'Load Savepoint' option. Lo and behold it takes me back to the last 'saving checkpoint' bit of the level. It works properly.

Now I try the 'RIVER' level in and low and behold, this is working properly now too.

Gah. I think my old save game must have gotten a little corrupt or something. Now that I've opened up the levels and resaved it from somewhere else it is working properly.

Bloody bugs. Two hours of my life gone.

Back to the game 8))))....
