They've already gone on record saying that it doesn't need the HD, but they
highly recommend it. Therefore its obvious to assume that it uses the HD if
you've got it (to speed up loading etc), and doesn't if you don't.
Looks mighty tempting i've got to say. Like a MMPORPG without the MPO (and
without Leroys).
