Chances are the box is outputting at too low a resolution or frequency for
your LCD to cope with. Unless there's a switch on it to change that, I'd say
you're probably out of luck.
Newer versions should work, though I have seen warnings about compatibility
with certain LCDs, so I'd do some research before buying one.
If you have a modded xbox, get a www.x2vga.com, they're by far the best VGA
output for xbox, but you do need an NTSC xbox, or a modded xbox to use it.
