Playing music on PSP?

So I go into windows media player, and it recognises the PSP, so I
drag the tracks I want on the psp to the sync area and press synch.
Ostensibly it does this, but although it shows 'now 68' or whatever in
the music folder, it says 'no tracks'.

I also just tried copying and pasting from explorer onto the PSP music
folder, but the same thing happens

Any idea why?

I have enabled WMA playback in the settings menu.
