Tried the composite cable it comes with and it doesn't buzz, which rules out a ground loop. Just picked up another HDMI cable and still have the same problem, which means I need to return my PS3 (a fucking pain) and if that doesn't work, return my tv (even more of a pain).

Have you tried component?
My money is on a problem with the TV set.
