Its definitely not normal. My PS3 is totally silent except for a
very very slight fan noise when a Blu Ray is playing. Its only
noticeable if I listen for it.


Mine's got a pretty loud fan, but then again about the only game I
play on it is Oblivion, so it's understandable that it kicks in a
lot with that! :)
