just had a look at Okami after the patch. It's just a plain bitmap
scale, so it doens't really look much better than it did before. The

You mean the black bars at the side of the screen? I get those on
PES, so if they disappear it will be great (I'm on a plasma set,
whereby borders can cause a bright retention after use).

There's still very small black bars at the top and bottom of the
screen (<1cm on my 32" lcd), so maybe still a worry for your plasma

I set set it up for full screen upscaling with anti-aliasing. The
normal setting for scaling leaves the image in the original apsect
ratio, meaning even bigger black bars at the sides.
