Re: Media Streaming from PC to PSP?

Just tried it out...

Seems to work great, although I can't listen to anything cos I haven't got a
memory stick at all so can't even subscribe to rss feeds or add bookmarks.

D'oh.

TVersity. Although the PSP doesn't do *proper* streaming, TVersity will
give you a web interface you can access via the PSP's web browser; from
that you can download a playlist in RSS format; finally the RSS audio
capabilities (for podcasts) of the PSP will 'stream' the individual MP3
files from your server to the PSP without the need to download them onto
a memory card first. A kludge, yes, but one that works for MP3s and
photos.

It doesn't, however, allow you to stream video. That's something Sony
themselves have restricted (you can only stream video to a PSP using one
of their proprietary boxes; any other video needs to be played from a
memory card or UMD).
