Best ever PS2 games?

With the PS3 prices being a little too high for the time being I'm thinking of picking up a cheap PS2 and a few games to go alongside the Xbox and 360.

I've not had a PS2 before so I've never played a lot of the Sony exclusives.

So, if i was trying to get the best 6 games on the PS2, what would your choices be?
