if you want one, preorder one. i doubt they'll have sufficient
numbers available to satisfy the initial demand, because there will
still be a lot of people desperate to get one.

Currently my Blockbuster store is taking preorders that are
guaranteed for launch day, £425 for the PS3 and there will be bundles
available, I doubt you'd get one launch day without pre ordering

If you have a proper chat (I did) you will find that the guarantee is
to get one before non preordering customers when stock turns up, not
on launch given the amount of preorders taken vs stock recieved.

Hmm, my District Manager told me that Sony had allocated BB a set amount and
these were guaranteed for launch day due to our success with a deposit
system with our first 1000 consoles, who did you chat to out of interest ?
