I've had my psp for two days now, and absolutely adore Locoroco. It's
quite unlike any game that I've played before with perhaps the exception
of Silly Putty (where you play a malleable blob) and E-Motion (where you
knock coloured balls into each other).
The music is great, albeit a bit strange - but the main character(s)
'sing' along to it. The initial character that you play has a great voice
set, with most of the sound effects being children's voices, which gives a
warm fuzzy feel to the game. Controls are really simple (L, R and both to
jump, O to split and reform your character).
It's clean, colourful and simpleminded fun, best enjoyed in short bursts
when you'd rather just chill out than get an adrenaline rush from a game.
it is good, and one of the few games on psp which actually felt like a
"proper" handheld game to me, but i found it started to get a bit
samey after a while.
loads of unlockables and stuff though :)
