I can't think of anything Nintendo have copied either.
They copied:
Analogue stick
4 controllers
Console-to-handheld linkup
Rumble
Touch screen control
Backwards compatibility
etc. etc.

Indeed. And I suspect the Wii controller technology isn't the first of its kind either. The only thing I know of that they've apparently 'invented' is a slot loading drive that takes multiple disc sizes.
