I don't know if I've played SH2 or not, but thankfully what I'd picked up
from SH3 (and gleaned from SH4 as being a general freaky trend of the
town, not just things to do with Alessa) was enough for me to be able to
make sense of the film.

I guess for the mainstream audience it would have been a bit boring to
have had so few characters as the games do. It was a nice touch to be able
to remember the words to the theme tune at the end though. (end theme from
SH3)
