So you've bought something not knowing when you'll get it and even if
you'll get any with the first batch for sale?

Yep.

Hope you don't end up like 10,000's who pre-ordered XBox 360's and
finally got them at the end of January.

Come a week before it's released, if I'm not going to get one on launch day,
I'll cancel my order. I don't even want a PS3 anyway.

But you'll not know until launch date if you'll get one or not.
