That is just E3 press conference talk - I would wait on pricing
information till release dates have been announced for Europe.
I'd expect the pricing to be more £299 for the Core model & £399 for the
Full model.

errr... so in what was is £399 NOT around £400? The quoted price in Europe
is for the PS3 is 599euros, that converts to £409. The base model you
refer to in 499euros, that's £340. Not a huge difference really and still
about £200 more than the Wii is going to cost.

Oh and Sony DID announce release date, 17 November I believe.


Sorry have not seen the video yet but like I said in my other post the
console is being aimed at 25+ with disposable incomes.

they want kids to get PS3's for christmas, but at that price i think
more will be getting something microsoft or nintendo branded.
