I'm not totally convinced those numbers are going to be especially large,
though. I mean, by the time it comes out, the X360 will have been out for
a
year. If MS don't announce a fairly substantial drop in price to coincide
with the PS3 launch, I will eat my vendorware XBox-brand hat. By this
time,
the second wave of X360 games will be out and, I'd be willing to bet,
looking
a lot prettier than the first wave of PS3 games.


As much as I hate Sony & perfer the old school of Sega/Nintendo.
Sony are very good at marketing & selling the machine.
They will price the console at a competitive price knowing that joe public
will snap it up.

I expect the 360 to be cheaper in price when the ps3 is released & maybe
even Halo 3 will come out to combat but this just shows to go how the
competition is threatened by the ps3 arrival.
