So is there a Progressive Component Video lead available for the PS2? or

came out years before hdmi was even a twinkle in a designers eye ;)
but yes, you can get analogue component leads, ive got one myself for
when i want to put the PS2 on the plasma tv downstairs.
however it doesnt have a "built in" prog scan mode, only certain games
support it and the majority of them are ntsc i believe.
might be worth having a google to see which games do support prog
scan.
