Re: Network Access Disc/Welcome pack

Can someone tell me, preferably from recent, post Christmas experience....how long SCCE take to get you your Network Access disc and welcome pack through in the post, after registering a new Slimline 'PStwo' online?

The w*ankers don't put it in the box, like they bloody should, leaving you to send in a card.... or register the console/serial number online, like I have. No mention at all though of how long, even on estimate, it is likely to take to arrive.

I guess they wanna make sure that everyone registers their consoles? Arseholes, if I had ye olde stylee PS2 I'd get it in the box with a Network Adapter. Not so now! :'(

Thanks, guys. :)

A mate of mine bought a PSP in November and filled in the online form at yorgamingname.com where they told him he would be sent a PIN number which would need to be used within 50 days. He then got an e-mail saying his PS2 Network access disk would arrive and he could then register with Central Station. This package finally turned up last week, so this may give you some idea it's taking for these disks to reach customers. Why he needed a PS2 network access disk for a handheld in which it won't fit, and isn't necessary is a mystery to me.

I registered my PSP on boxing day and got the same e-mail, over a month later still no sign of the package or PIN (although I did get my complimentary Spiderman 2, which is so plentiful on the trade in shelves of my local indy games emporium it's probably not even worth taking in to trade).

I already have a network acess disk that came with my BBA, never managed to get the sod working though, but that may be down to the crappy old analogue cable that was installed by the Sky guy when I got Squidgital, before broadband was available where I live. If I set the PS2 up in here I suppose it might work.

This was a long winded way of saying, expect it to take nearly the whole 50 days. Yet more genius from Sony's online "strategy".

Great, now piss off you boss-eyed twat!
