HEY Y'ALL!

Hey Daisy! I'll be playin':

Bosconian (ARC via PSP) - How did I not know that XKobo and Kobo Deluxe
were ripped off of this arcade title? Back in the days when I administered
Solaris, I was thrilled to discover that there was a Windows CE version of
Kobo and I played the hell of it every spare minute. I feel silly for
always skipping the game in the various retro collections in favour of Pac
Man or Rally-X. Namco Battle Museum gets pressed into service again on the
strength of this one game.

Persona 3 Portable (PSP) - Made no progress during the week, partly
because I kept reverting to a particular save out of dissatisfaction with
the available social activities. I enjoy the improved UI, but I find
myself wishing for some kind of tree chart that shows me all the fun
things I can do (so I can pick the one I actually have to, instead of
bumping into Bebe in the hallway and having him awkwardly ask me on a
date).

Soul Calibur IV (360) - My interest is renewed after having played it on
the PS3. I discovered the other day that I had inadvertently unlocked a
ton of costume items that I wasn't aware of. So really, I'm not playing a
fighting game so much as I am playing with electronic dress-up dollies.

Fallout 3 (360) - Just when I think I'm done, I discover the radio tower
relays. There's a depressing story under each of those antennas. Exactly
what I need as a reminder of human fallibility. :/

Ys Chronicles (PSP) - If the box gets here in time. It's supposed to be
better than the Book I+II remix on the DS, with properly rendered music
and a combat system not weighed down by touch screen gimmicks. It also
lets me list something recent in my PWB post on Monday. :)
