So this weekend I'll be playing, mayhaps, these fine (and not so fine) gaming wonders:
Bayonetta Demo (360) - Incessantly. I like it, but it's just a hair too difficult for me from the get-go. I keep catching myself wishing that they used the God of War standard for controls, like what happened with Conan and Sonic Unleashed.
By hard, do you mean you can't complete it, or you can't play it how
you want to? Assuming the demo is the same as the Japanese one I
played last month it was very easy to finish, but I didn't feel like
I'd grasped the controls fully by the end of the demo.

I'm dying a little too easily after getting off the train, which I imagine may be due to poor management of healing and power-up items. I think I'm playing it correctly, although I'm a bit confused by all the combat options. I didn't have time to attempt to complete it last night, but I'm sure I can make it to the end of the first level on Normal difficulty. If not, then I'll hand in my membership card when I leave. :)

Healing and powerup items? Wat? I found it pretty easy too, fwiw. I'm going to download the western demo anyway, even though the fact that as soon as I go to it it says "play demo" rather than download makes me suspect it's identical to the Japanese one I already have.
