Retro Week '09 - Day Four

Day Four - We have survived the paradox of a thousand Listers. I think
it's fortunate that there were no women on the trip.

Phantasy Star IV (MD) - Made it to Mine, which is a dumb name for a town
that has no mine and is in fact a sandworm farm. It's also just occurred
to me what a Freudian name 'Birth Valley' is. I wonder if greater graphics
technology would have backfired on Sega under all the high concepts they
were throwing around.

Soul Calibur (DC) - Just for a little while. Is it just distance and time
that makes this game seem really easy? It wasn't as challenging as I
remember, not that it was really hard to begin with.

-KKC, who wonders why the time machine is bigger on the inside than on the
outside.
