Fixed it for you.

Paul.

While I think on, there's an MMO that you haven't tried, it's a Shin Megami Tensei "closed" beta but it seems you can still get in:

It seems fairly rubbish (and the first bit you play is a prelude to it actually telling you how to play later on, which is confusing), but what do I know.

I got my invite last night ;-)

I've played it for about four hours so far. Because it's beta, some of it's broken (like the translations) and there are server issues as one would expect. As for the game itself, I haven't really 'clicked' with it yet. One of the problems is the controls - they're dreadful: You have the choice of WASD or mouse control to move around, but you can't use WASD to move and the mouse to guide if you see what I mean.

Not sure what you mean here, I used both. If it's somewhere distant, I'll left click otherwise I'll use wasd. If you mean one overrides the other, then don't most MMOs work like that (ie. click to go somewhere, but you'll stop heading there if you use wasd)? One button I've not found is a "keep moving forward whatever" one. As for translations, there are so many typos never mind translation issues that I'm surprised it's a beta. It seems like they've barely started on the game.

Another problem is that the mini tutorial at the start is then replaced by yet another tutorial covering the same ground fifteen minutes later. A part of this is down to how the story develops (it's episodic like The World Ends With You), but really it would've been better to have a full tutorial at the start and then have the story kick off. Also, like TWEWY, you can also control your partner (demon) at the same time in battle.

I agree, as I said I think the first bit is actually just a little prologue piece but it isn't half confusing given it doesn't tell you how to play the game until you've had to try and work out how to play it yourself for 15 minutes prior.
